In the first video Haldir posted, there are weird sounds to be heard that really fascinate me. Have a look at the top post in the video tread if this post doesn't ring a bell: haldirolorien.proboards78.com/index.cgi?board=tttmovie&action=display&thread=1185217979They appear after they went into the forest, before Galadriël's voice can be heard. It sounds as dripping water, but not exactly. Besides, there's no river nearby that we know of and rivers don't usually make dripping sounds. It would be more like a rushing sound. And dripping water can also not be explained, for the winds obviously blows through the forest (see Frodo's hair moving), a sound like that would not sound so loud and hollow under these windy circumstances. Could that sound be the elves? Ticking their bows to the trees in order to communicate? Or clicking their tongues perhaps for similar reasons?

Now that you mention it... yeah! *blinks*
I heard two noises... ringing noises.. maybe some sort of light windchime sound. And I also heard dripping water. It sounded like water dripping in a cave maybe. That's weird! I wouldn't be surprised if the ringing was made by th Elves, but the dripping? Hm... that's something to think about.

That is interesting! I heard it before but didn't think much of it. Interesting, though.

I heard it... I seriously think it's water running over rocks. Probably just like a small stream. Before that when we saw the fellowhship coming from Moria Aragorn runs over a small stream to look at Lothlorien. Maybe it was that one. Too small to be marked on a map?

Well, Lorien is right beside the Anduin. It could have been some sound effects, as well.

But a river would make a rushing sort of noise... the noise in the clip is like... dripping. A dripping/bell-like noise. That's too peaceful for a larger body of water *scratches head*

It really is an odd choice of sound for the scene. You'd expect a sound like that in a cave, not in a forest!

I agree. PJ can be maddeningly irritating... *considers a second kidnapping*

But it was more like a dripping, not a trickling.

Watch it again... it could pass as trickling.
