We can almost be certain the Hobbit Movie will finally be made. Now I was wondering, all dwarves in the book had so many coloured beards, do you think that will be the case in the movie as well? I'm not just talking reddish, brown and blondes, but they were described blue, yellow.. you name it! I't's hard to imagine this will also be done in the movie, it would be like: "Bilbo and a bunch of clowns!"

This will proably sound extremely odd, but as far as the colors go. I work in a Nursing home and the ladies sometimes color there hair "Blue" but its not blue per say, its white with a bluish tint. Its kind of difficult to describe, you would have to see it.
As for having yellow beards, I would assume thats the same as having a blonde beard? Perhaps just slightly more faded.

Tell the ladies they should probably easy up on their silver shampoo That formula takes out the yellowish 'dirty' hair look, but a lot of elder people overdo it ;D Perhaps the dwarves also have a bottle of silver shampoo in their cabinets? The first dwarves' beard was litterly described as blue, so that has to be it ;D

The way Tolkien described it, they should be acknowledged in the colourfull beards. So I agree with you on that one, Hobo. On the other hand, would it look the least bit realistic?
