Has anyone ever made a LotR Costume? I've tried and stopped partway because I sort of need a mannequin fir modeling, since Helimoth refused to do it unless I payed her. I wouldn't mind finishing it during the summer holidays though. As if I actually have time to do it now. Anyway has anyone here actually made a LotR-ish costume before? Feel free to post pictures!

I do. Thought I'd share some pictures of my 2nd Age Elven Warrior Armor. The armor is comes in Large/Xtra Large, and Small/Medium which fits most display mannequins as well as ladies rather well. The armor is somewhat adjustable and features elasticized lacings for ease of wearing. Great for cosplay, L.A.R.P.ing or as a display piece for your Lord Of The Rings collection. The set includes: Chest Plate Hip Armour Pauldrons Bracers Pictures on a stock mannequin, Small/Medium sized, with Helmet for comparison. Taken with a low light setting in incandescant light. The armor is actually more "metallic" looking than it appears in this setting... A partial set in natural light... The armor is made from custom finished high impact plastic, with real leather trim and brass fitings. Each set is hand made and takes a week or more to produce, and we are booked well in advance. We also make the Elven Cloak & Sash and Pants/Kilt to go with this set. The cloak fabric is a special two-tone shimmer fabric, and the Pants/Kilt are custom dyed. Cheers! ~ GM
