Perhaps that is not such a dull theory. Was there a watersource nearby, or could there be a chance she boiled the water first?

Narya was the Ring of Fire, eru Nenya is the Ring of Water *agrees with Miluiel's post*

Adamant is an old word for diamond, which is supposed to describe the precious stone in Nenya ... just as Narya is also called the "Red Ring"

Adamant is an old word for diamond, which is supposed to describe the precious stone in Nenya ... just as Narya is also called the "Red Ring" I did just say that: Adamant is an old fashioned word for diamond. ;D

Okay so no watersource from the ring then. What is pretty odd is that she has got the only example of this. Or is it a palantir but then liquified?
