The ring Gandalf had was Narya right? The ring of fire anyway. If i got the name wrong sorry im an idiot this evening. Ok, anyway, I noticed on another post something that disturbed me greatly. Someone suggested, perhaps inadvertantly that Gandalf would have been finished immediately had sauron gotten the one, because he wore one of the three. So am i crazy or did Gandalf only rarely wear Narya? The first time anyone noticed it was at the Grey Havens correct??

Gandalf always wore Narya, but it wasnt an actively powerful ring, Id say more a passively powerful ring. Also, Im not too sure that those who wore the elven rings would obey sauron like the ringwraiths did, I think galadriel said that he would know who wore it and I suppose may have a measure of power and infulence over them, but depending on the being who wore the ring. The first time the hobbits and those noticed it was at the grey havens but again that was due to the passive power of the Three. Also, I doubt Gnadalf would want to advertise the fact he had an Elven ring with the servants of sauron around lol.

Sauron would know that Gandalf had the ring, wouldn't he? But Elves and Dwarves are not so easily to corrupt as Men are, and not greedy for power as the Men were. It would be like how it was before Sauron lost the Ring and the Elves were not in his control. Gil-galad wasn't when he wore Vilya and neither was Elrond when it was his turn to... and Galadriel definitely wasn't.

I dont think he did. Because in the Simiralian, the rings were scattered, unknown to the enemies of the world. I remember a passage saying that Sauron had no idea who had the ring. Gil-Galad had the Vilya, but gave it to Elrond. I think that Sauron knew about this one, but i dont think he knew where the others were.
