Any Elf-related scene is my favourite (hmm that's quite a few favourites...). I just love seeing them... they are such beautiful creatures. *stupid smile*

Bah, I'll stick to the loverly elves.
You can keep the Rohirrim, Hobo. They smell like horse-sweat, anyway.

Tell them that when they have a spear shoved at your throat!

Oh, man...I would totally tell them that, spears or no. I have no shame.
Besides, I'm small, fast, and have seriously fast reflexes. They'd have to catch me first.
And I don't mean running me down on an open plain, 'cuz duh, I can't run faster than a horse at full gallop, but short sprints from one bit of cover to the next?
Oh, yeah. I could swing that, and they could never maneuver a horse fast enough in those close of quarters to head me off, so I'd be fairly safe, at least til they broke out a bow.
Spears, bah! Archers...meep!

Actually, I speak from experience. We used to train our horses for barrel-racing doing pretty much what I just said. 'Course, there were no weapons involved...

Well, no. Only time I've ever beaten a horse at pretty much full gallop, I was pretty much running for my life. My uncle's stallion was trying to run me down, and I was just lucky I made it under the fence before he caught up with me.
Short sprints in tight quarters, like from rock to rock, or bush to bush, I can do. I can outmaneuver a horse in those conditions. Never want to have to outrun one again. *shudder*

With a horse that's trained, and not trying to kill you, yeah.

Lol...yeah, fifteen years later, it's funny. Back then, not so much. Course, I was only 12, so the horse was a great bit bigger than me, too...
