My favorite part is when Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli show up with the green reinforcements. That battle is so cool!

That is my Moms favorite part as well, She for some reason abseloutely loves any scene with the army of the Dead, Though I can't seem to get her to call them that, Its the "Green People"
My favorite scene is when the Rohirrim finally show up at dawn, and there is that great shot sweeping over how many have come which was in the thousands. I remeber hearing somewhere that they did have 500 actual horse and riders who came from all over New Zealand just to film the charge, I love watching and trying to figure out what is real and what has been replaced with CG, these days its hard to tell becuase they have gotten so good. Also watching Theoden do his speech after hearing Benard Hill on the actors commentary talking about what he did just to get through it, now I have to smile everytime I see it.
That is then also followed by Aragorns speech outside the black gates.

I like the Rohirrims arrival , yes, although it was written much better in the book imo. Um.. apart form that, the signal from Minas Morgul, when the army marches from there, that shaft of white power into the sky, but first there should have been a great red flash splashing the clouds with crimson, ' the uprushing flame in Gorgoroth ;' as Tolkien said, - his writing is so atmospheric - from Orodruin, and then the answering of Minas Morgul. But nervertheless good, and then Gandalf and Pippin seeing it from Minas Tirith, that was well done. The eagles diving into the Nazgul, good bit, - and my fav at the cinema as its better on the big screen, is the Rohirrim seeing the Mumakil - and you can see their shock and horror, but they still charge them, - brilliant.

They're Fresssh!" I think it's the only line from the movie that she knows...

Aragorn and his party meets the black sails and he says you will not enter Gondor. I love that scene. And of course the arrival of Rohirrim and King's great speech and of course they ran like a wind to the gallop too crash the orcs

Certainly the arrival of the Rohirrim at the pelennor fields. Second would be when King Théoden rides out of Helms Deep while the horn of Helm Hammerhand sounds in the deep!

Heh...I tend to worship any scene that manages to get across the elves' physical superiority. Special effects or not, that's hard to make realistic.
The scene that sticks out the most to me is in TTT, when the wargs are attacking the people en route to Helm's Deep and Legolas manages to grab hold of the harness at the horse's chest and swing himself up in front of Gimli- without knocking the dwarf off in the process.
Somehow, I can't see even the Rohirrim managing that; at least, not without breaking their arm off at the elbow in the process.
Of course, we all know that was totally computer animated, 'cuz no way would they risk an actor doing that, but it sure looks wicked-cool on screen.
