Looks like the fellowship was passing through the forest but could not find it where exactly. At least Boromir is there I guess this pic is worth looking

It looks like Amon Hen to me. Warning: Do NOT englarge the picture by clicking on it. Some inappropreiate advertisements pop up. Perhaps you could disable that, Boromir?

The pictures were manipulated together ... they were from the same scenes but they're not very proportionate.

*Drools over lower picture*
Thanks for sharing, Boromir! I love them. And about your question, I think Miluiel is right. It was when they got attacked at Amon Hen by the Uruks.

*drools over both pictures* And thank you for doing that, Boromir. Yes, at first I couldn't remember seeing the Fellowship all near eachother like that, but Haldir's right...if you look closely, Sam and Merry appear to be going right through Legolas in the picture abovem and then through Boromir.

Hmm i can only see the bottom one and i think that mil is right. Or it could be in lothlorien when legolas turns and pulls his bow on one of the elves. I think mil is righ though.

I was studying these pictures for an hour (yes I know.. I don't have a life). And it suddenly dawned on me... they are definitely both from Lothlórien. Original pictures. Not manipulated at all. And here is how I realized... Firstly, Hobo is right about the Lothlórien part.. but Legolas wasn't pointing his bow at any Elf.. he was pointing it at Uruks. Take a look at Legolas's bow. It's his Mirkwood one. During their time in Amon Hen, Legolas has his Golden Wood Bow, remember? Given to him by Galadriel. This one is before they leave Lothlórien and the only time they enter a forest before that is when they enter Lothlórien. In the top picture, Aragorn is leading them. He does indeed lead them in. And Legolas was at the back and he does pull his bow out when the Elves appeared. If you guys look in the first picture, there are Uruks following them, which is how they ran into Lothlórien in the first place, if you read the book. They were being chased in. Legolas is shooting at them, Boromir has his sword out and they're all running away. And for those of you who didn't read the book, yeah that did happen.. remember in the movie, Celeborn had said "The enemy knows you have entered here. What hope you had in secrecy is now gone." Well that's supposed to be about that part

oh yes, the lost scene that really should have been in the movie. odd how they filmed a good amount of it but never finished. just the way the introduced Haldir and the Elves was too random. this would've made it more interesting.
