You know.. I just realised that I couldn't find a proper section to place Shakespeare in.. ohwell I'll worry about that later.
Anyone read Shakespeare and actually understand it? I'm currently reading Romeo and Juliet with my class.. it's the most corniest love story ever. Seriously. It's sadly pathetic.
And does anyone know what "Wherefore art thou?" means? Trick question.

Aww, I love Shakepeare! You just have to appreciate his wonderful works to be able to enjoy them. In my history class we recently read through the whole play "Twlefth Night", it was so fun (at least for me). I like got all the middle-age-ish joke and was totally into it. I've also acted out a scene from Henry V...oh, that play just tears me up, especially the St. Crispin's day speech. Then I went to go see a Midsummer's Night Dream on stage when I was little, it was great! But at first I decided I would hate Shakespeare, but then I realized that there was nothing to dislike about him. Romeo and Juliet isn't corny at all...it's classic.

It's classic, but corny. Who would act like that? It's so silly.

Ah well, I guess we would just have to live back then to appreciate it most.

Probably, haha. Well his writing style is really beautiful.. but that particular play's plot was a bit lame. But then it wouldn't be Shakespeare's fault because it wasn't thought out by him anyway.
