We soon see that she's in cahoots with Barbossa, the evil ghost pirate from the first film

Not anymore, he's mortal now.

Now, It took me seeing that movie twice...then watching the first one again, to figure out how it would make sense that hes back and I think it was all in the line of "A man so evil that evil hell would spat him back out"

I think that pretty much explains why Barbossa is back and kicking.

Someone told me this is going to be rated R; has any one here heard that?

MMmm nope ... I can't really reason with that because if the other two weren't rated "R" then the last one shouldn't be ... kids don't like cliff hangers anymore than adults do and if the kids were forbidden to watch the last one then that wouldn't really work ... and they'd lose a lot of money making it "R"-rated since the majority of the audience are children below the age of 18.

Yeah. It's mainly our age groups that watch POTC and if they rated it R so young ppl like me (I'm only 13..*cries with embarssment*) couldn't watch it, they'd loose a lot of money and thats what they want. So rating it R wouldn't even be logical.
