In the second part of the books we got to know Gollum a little bit better. Which did you like/interest you more? Smeagol or Gollum?

Gollum. I was waiting for his betrayal but do not know when. It is good to know it was gone at the end.

Hmmm well I like Smeagol better, but if it hadn't have been for the Gollum side of him he wouldn't have bitten frodo's finger off at the end, and who knows what would have happened!
It's a difficult question but... *thinks long and hard* I do like Smeagol better - he's actually quite sweet XD

I like Sméagol better ... he's the complete opposite of Gollum ... the Sméagol that wasn't corrupted by the Ring is pretty decent.

I voted for Gollum myself. Without him Frodo and Sam wouldn't have been able to end it.

What you say is true, Eya. But I had to vote for Smeagol because I found him entertaining and while he did murder his friend for the ring, he was a better person than Gollum. Smeagol was not evil like Gollum. Misguided and captivated by the ring, but not corrupt.

I like Smeagol better- He can actually be very nice. I feel sorry for him too. If it weren't for the ring, he probably would have been an outstanding citizen of Middle Earth... although, then he wouldn't be in the story and we wouldn't even know who he was...
