I thought that he was evil. And in the movie, when the Nazgul come and try to kill the Hobbits and Aragorn is looking out the window, I thought he was in allgience (sp?) with the Nazgul.

I liked the name strider . It jsut suits him I think. It tells me that this bloke does alot of walkin around on his long shanks lol. also to have earned a nickname like that ud have to be quite far travelled. I think taht Tolkien duidnt want u to trust aragorn completely at start, but also made him seem like u were jugding book by cover before u knew his true name + ancestrey . If u get my meanin lol.
