I've seen some awesome nicknames passing by at this forum. So I wonder, how did you all came up with them? Mine was just a random bash on the keyboard, hahaha! I didn't even know what it ment, until someone said to me it looked like the Turkish word for liar ;D I had no idea, for my Turkish vocabulary doesn't reach that far  I kept it nonetheless. |

Well, my dad used to teach at this university in Japan called 'Keodai' and I was trying to think of a username that was different for an account on this online game on runescape, so I just ended up spelling it wrong.  |

Fool of a Took is pretty obvious. My dad told me that I'm just like Pippin sometimes, and he calls me Fool of a Took when I do something stupid. XD

Well, I went to an Elvish name generator and put my Dog's name in, And got Orophin. I loved it so I now use it on all LOTR boards.(My dog's name is Teddy)

Thanks! I wonder if Orophin really is the Elvish word for Teddy. XD Nahh .. unfortunately there's no Elvish word for "teddy" ... did you get it off that random generator with the Hobbit names too? Cos when I used that I got:: "Eàmanë Ancalimë" ... but that site is just a random generator ... you should go on A-U's main site and find that name as I am positive it is there ... Arwen actually finds the definitions and creates names. On her site my name was supposedly "Mantheniel", but when I translated it properly by myself, my actual Elvish name is "Theninthîr" *smiley* |

Well, in fact, my nickname is Telpeath. I acidently wrote Telpeath as my name for about 4 classes. The teachers were angry, but the got over it. Even my friends sometimes call me tel.

Hah, teachers should get over that. It's no big deal, I'm sure they could figure out who ye were. Teachers can tell who I am because there's a bunch of tengwar all over my paper.. but they still get annoyed for some reason.
Anyhoo, my name's always El, no matter what. But the full thing, Elnimara.. is really boring. Not really worth telling. It's just... my name, for as long as I can remember (from the Third Age).
