Which part of 'The Hobbit' did you like best?
For me it was defenately the escape from the Elves. Because Bilbo really proved he was smarter then the Dwarves and finally gained their respect a little.

Mmmm I liked the "Riddle-game" between Bilbo and Gollum. And when the Orcs saw Bilbo's form because he was in the sunlight. That was awesome action

I do not think Tolkien did such a madness while writing "The Hobbit". That is the most ridicoulos thingI have ever heard. May be your friend understood the book wrongly

^Erm, you are totally contradicting yourself. I haven't read it. becouse a friend of mine said that the elves were a little....gay Mmm like Boromir said, your friend is completely misinformed. Perhaps he should go back and read it again One, saying that you didn't read the book because you heard that there was Homosexuality involved would prejudiced, and a comment like that cannot be tolerated. Two, I doubt Tolkien would add Homosexual content in his books, because he was Catholic.

I thought the Elves were a bit scary in 'The Hobbit'. They kept the Dwarves and Bilbo captured and that was not how it was supposed to go (according to me ) I also thought the part with the giant spiders was really thrilling! When they walked in that creepy forest and got off the road. That was so scary I questioned if the book would fit for children! ((BTW Boromir you're sig scares me too!))

^How would you know? You never even read the book. And besides, why would you listen to your friend say trash about any Tolkien book if you are such a Tolkien purist? I thought the Elves were a bit scary in 'The Hobbit'. Lol yeah they were a bit hyper too.

^Well that reply just proves that you are not, Reno Sorry to burst your bubble. Anyway another favourite part of mine is at the beginning when all the Dwarves show up in pairs at Bilbo's house ... that was pretty hilarious. And when they did the same thing at Beorn's house ;D
